Schools of Hope in Madison

Become a Schools of Hope Tutor in Madison elementary schools!

COVID-19 UPDATE: At this time, there will be no in-person volunteer tutoring opportunities for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. While some students have chosen to stay virtual, we have discovered the task of coordinating in-person learning with virtual learning is a complicated one. Ultimately, in consideration of these factors, we do not have the ability to support volunteers doing virtual tutoring this school year. Thank you for your interest in our program, and your help in keeping our community safe during the pandemic. We sincerely hope there will be in-person and/or virtual volunteer opportunities in the 2021-2022 school year.
With that being said, if you are interested in volunteering with us next school year, please fill out our new volunteer application for 2021-2022If you fill out the new application, you will receive more information about volunteer opportunities in the fall.
We want to reiterate our gratitude for your continued patience and support during this unprecedented school year. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or would like additional information. If you are interested in being updated when these opportunities emerge, we encourage you to either apply to be a tutor below or continue checking this website for updates.
If you are a returning volunteer, we would love to gauge your interest level in volunteering with us next school year (2021-2022). Please fill out this survey to give us an update on your volunteer preferences going forward.
